Description

Several current environmental health challenges are impacting environmental health practitioners across the U.S. This session will focus on four of these challenges: lead in drinking water; perfluorinated compounds; responding to environmental emergencies; the need to quickly measure environmental contaminants, and wildland fires. This interactive roundtable discussion session will provide an opportunity for EPA's science leaders to have a discussion with local environmental health practitioners about these topics. Five round tables will be available, and each table will feature one topic. Participants will have an interactive discussion about each of these topics. Participants will rotate tables every 15 minutes, covering all five tables during the 90-minute session.
