    Dr. Laura Brown is with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Environmental Health. She works with state and local food safety programs funded by CDC to develop and implement projects focused on improving restaurant food safety. Dr. Brown has worked on such diverse food safety topics as ill food workers, hand hygiene, tomato handling practices, and food cooling practices.
