Pesticide misuse activities cause unique contamination incidents and risk to first-responders, remediation contractors, and the public. This panel presentation will provide an overview of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's role in providing technical support to local, tribal, and state authorities for a pesticide response during pesticide indoor misuse cases and will contain the results from research initiated to fill gaps in estimating sampling and analysis capabilities, sampling effects on method performance, and decontamination capabilities.
