Kari Sasportas, MSW, MPH, REHS/RS, is currently the Health Director for Town of Lexington, Massachusetts, and formerly the Manager of Community Resilience and Preparedness at the Cambridge Public Health Department in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Kari is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with over a decade of experience in policy and regulatory development, toxicology, and environmental risk assessment at the state and local level. Kari holds an appointment as Technical Advisor (TA) to the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) on the topic of Land Use and the Built Environment, and she serves on the NEHA Climate Change Workgroup, as well as the Global Climate Change Workgroup at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).
