Description

Timely delivery and direct access to resources is key to changing behaviors related to food safety. To help food service managers develop food safety systems, Maricopa County Environment Services Department (MCESD) is using technology to connect managers with Active Managerial Control (AMC) resources through digital inspection reports with targeted hyperlinks. Over the past three years, MCESD has been developing a web based library of oral culture-based materials including videos and posters that simplify the principles of AMC and food safety systems. This AMC Toolbox is at the center of MCESD's approach to long term food safety practices.
