BIOGRAPHY OF DR. STEVE KONKEL R. Steven Konkel connects environment and human health. He has spent years working on public policy issues where environmental health practitioners and professionals provide innovative solutions. He has made a difference in evaluations and programmatic work on renewable energy development (wind generation in particular), provision of drinking water and sanitation services, and climate change policy. He has worked for the Office of the Governor, State of Alaska (Hon. Gov. Jay Hammond). He teaches UAA courses in the CBPP, such as PADM 640 Dispute Resolution and PADM 671 Arctic Policy, Climate, Sustainability & Governance, as well as Negotiation and Conflict Management.
