This presentation will offer a real-world example of a noise ordinance revision in the City of Plano, Texas, including the involved challenges, public outreach strategies, and lessons learned along the way. While in this case, the process was long, difficult, and at times, frustrating, the lessons were valuable and resulted in a product that can be replicated in other communities.
