San Bernardino County Mosquito and Vector Control Program (SBCMVCP) has developed and implemented a cluster trapping method geared towards understanding population distribution of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This method is a winner of both the 2018 National Association of Counties Achievement Award (NACo) and the 2018 National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) Model Practice Award. Cluster trapping has allowed technicians to successfully capture over 1,800 Aedes aegypti mosquitoes since its implementation in 2017.
