Description

Each summer the Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department is tasked with protecting the public's health at the Daddy of ‘em All, the world's largest outdoor rodeo, The Cheyenne Frontier Days Fair and Rodeo. The Division of Environmental Health is responsible for numerous Environmental Health programs including campgrounds, food safety, public health preparedness, and even vector control. Each of the programs can keep our staff busy during the summer but for 10 days at the end of July they all have to be done at once. This presentation will provide insight as to how one small department juggles all the public health issues surrounding the biggest annual event in the State of Wyoming.
