Recently, in Public Health, Trauma Informed Care (TIC) has been discussed quite a bit. Environmental Health, as part of the Public Health system, has been asked to incorporate this concept in practice at Washington County, Oregon. This session will discuss the basics of TIC, the discussions of TIC among Washington County Environmental Health's team, and what the outcome of these discussion was, and what next steps are being taken. Also, discussion among participants will occur about how TIC can be incorporated in a practical manner in Environmental Health programs.
