Reem Tariq is a Project Coordinator for the Department of Programs and Partnership Development at the National Environmental Health Association. Reem’s work at NEHA is primarily focused on developing and maintaining projects in private water, environmental public health tracking and academic outreach. Prior to NEHA, she worked as an Environmental Health Specialist Trainee at Division of Environmental Health at Benton County Health Services. At Benton County Health Department, she played an active role in communicable disease outbreak & rabies investigations, maintenance & monitoring of public water system surveys, and public health preparedness planning. She received her Master of Science in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University, in addition to her Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology from Washington State University.
