Grace McClain is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and a Program Analyst at NACCHO. In this capacity, she coordinates multiple projects in support of local environmental health, including technical assistance in mosquito control, a webinar series on the Model Aquatic Health Code, and support to the NACCHO Climate Change Workgroup. Prior to her current role, she gained perspectives on environmental health regulation and compliance from her work at the Pima County Health Department, academic laboratories, the private construction industry, and the Maryland General Assembly. She is passionate about building healthy and equitable environments through the application of political advocacy and public health tools. She earned an MPH in Health Systems and Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a BS in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Arizona.
