Zach Lowenstein is an Environmental Scientist in EPA’s Office of Wastewater Management (OWM), located at EPA Headquarters in Washington, DC. Zach has been with EPA for the last 2.5 years primarily supporting the Decentralized Wastewater Program. Zach is also OWM’s Office of Research and Development research coordinator, and supports the tribal program as well. Prior to his employment at EPA, Zach worked for a couple of years in permit compliance at the South Florida Water Management District, and before that, as an environmental scientist at a small consulting firm in the oil and gas sector. Zach holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and Master’s in Public Health, both from the University of Florida.
