Adrienne S. Ettinger, ScD, MPH, MS is Chief of the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Environmental Health Tracking Branch at CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health. In that role, she directs scientific, programmatic, and policy activities conducted by multidisciplinary staff working with a broad range of stakeholders to address environmental hazards, human exposures, and adverse health effects in the U.S. Dr. Ettinger is a formally-trained epidemiologist with interdisciplinary training in environmental health sciences and human nutrition. She has more than 20 years of applied experience leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs, data surveillance systems, and community-based research aimed at addressing childhood lead poisoning prevention working with diverse populations in the U.S. and internationally.
